Upon completion of this module, learners will be able to:

• Describe each Pre-Employment Transition Service (Pre-ETS) and its intent.
• Describe evidence-based research supporting the effectiveness of each service.
• Describe key roles played by VR professionals in the provision of Pre-ETS.

Tools with Permission to Use

This training includes tools designed to clarify, streamline, and improve the work of a VR counselor. These instruments include tip sheets and worksheets. VR counselors can download and use the instruments in their work with students. State VR agency training managers and academic program personnel may download and replicate them in preparing rehabilitation counselors to meet the needs of youth with disabilities.
