Following the interview with the employer, Debra contacted Miss Sue, the Pre-ETS liaison at Savannah's school. (In Savannah's state, the state VR agency has contracted with schools to provide Pre-ETS services to students with disabilities.)

Debra informed Miss Sue of her interview with the Marketplace. Miss Sue responded that they tour the marketplace shops every year. She had already scheduled a tour of the restaurant, grocery store, and post office. Debra asked her to include the laundromat and let her know if Savannah appeared interested in any of the sites/jobs.

Along with her class, Savannah toured the Marketplace shops to observe employees performing the various jobs within each. The tour was led by the school's Pre-ETS team: Miss Sue (Teacher) and Miss Lisa (Paraeducator/Job Coach).

Following the tour, Miss Sue contacted Debra to inform her that Savannah enjoyed the tour and seemed most interested in working at either the grocery store or, as expected, the laundromat.

They agreed that the next step was to arrange a paid work experience.
